Red Dead Redemption 2 (Inspired)

Overview

This level was inspired by the town of Valentine from Red Dead Redemption 2, remade with an overgrown, nature-reclaimed aesthetic. Created for an advanced level design course, the goal was to capture the spirit of the original town, but with the added twist.

I handled the entire design process, from planning the layout and blocking out structures to sculpting the terrain, painting materials, and placing buildings and foliage to bring the environment to life. I also designed a small interactive element using blueprints where players gather materials to start a fire, adding a subtle touch of gameplay to the scene.

This project helped me sharpen my environment design process from planning to polish, while pushing me to think about atmosphere, visual pacing, and how layout changes can shape the perception and mood of the space.
