Overview
Rudor Empire is a competitive board game where rival kingdoms race to reclaim treasure from a powerful dragon’s lair and claim glory through strategy, risk, and survival.
My main contributions included writing the ruleset, creating the initial map layout through sketches, and designing the card systems for player interaction.
This project gave me experience with technical and systems design, figuring out how to make a game feel deep without becoming confusing. The biggest lesson I took away was the value of clear communication with players and the importance of frequent playtesting through every iteration.
